There will always be questions. So there should be.

please feel free to reach out and send an email HERE.
1-I have a Pinterest account, do I need a business account as well?
A big loud YES! It is a requirement in the terms of service that you use a business account. But also, when you convert to a business account, you’ll get access to Pinterest analytics and other features only available to business users.
Pinterest has been around since 2011, it is common for people to ask if they should convert their personal account to a business account or start fresh.
I lean towards converting a personal account over to a business.
Would your audience be at all interested in your current content? If so, then convert! If they are wildly different, then consider starting a fresh account!
2-Will Pinterest work for my business?
Yes. If you regularly create fresh content or upload new products then Pinterest will work for you.
In order for Pinterest to work for your business, you need to be strategic, consistent, have good SEO skills. That means pinning the right content at the right time and using the right keywords. If you want Pinterest to work for your business, you’ll need to pin profitable pins and set up a profitable profile driven by keyword rich descriptions and a CTA.
3-What is the difference between Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest?
Facebook is a social media platform, whereas, Pinterest is a visual search engine. Pinners are planned people, they go to Pinterest to get ideas, inspiration and buy. Whereas, Facebook and Instagram users go on the platform to be entertained and keep up with their friends what random strangers are doing.
A Pinterest pin can last for a few years, which means that your pin can continue to generate profit, years after it was pinned. However, a post on Facebook or Instagram only lasts for a few minutes to a few hours, and you have to keep posting for your content to be "seen."
4-Can I grow my Instagram or YouTube following with Pinterest?
Yep! Sure can. If you have a business YouTube channel, you need to create Pinterest optimized pins to promote that particular video and have a link go directly to your video. You can also embed the video on your site and drive traffic to your site instead. Driving traffic to your YouTube channel instead of directly to the video is a little dangerous as people often get distracted in watching other content.
Building Instagram is similar to YouTube, although you can also pin an image from your Instagram page to your Pinterest profile.
When a pinner clicks on the image, it will take them to your Instagram page.
If the caption is well written and engaging and you have a “CTA” and an engaging Instagram page, you shouldn’t have a problem converting them into a follower and eventually customer.
You can also upload the same images on Pinterest and have the link go to a specific page on your site. This way, you will be able to grow your traffic as well.
5- I'm new to the Pinterest game, I see accounts with heaps of followers how can I get lots of followers and engagement?
Stop trying to catch up. Stop comparing lemons to grapes.
There are so many factors that come into play as to how accounts grow with several hundred thousand or even million followers.
Algorithms change-all the time.
Platforms change.
Anyone who has had multiple years to grow their Pinterest account is going to seem like a world ahead of you.
But you shouldn’t be comparing yourself to them. Pinterest is a long-term game and knowing your target market, what they are looking for, and how you can provide the content they want will win for you in the end.
Remember: Pins can last for years.
6-Why does Pinterest take so long for results?
Because Pinterest’s algorithm takes into account both keywords (in descriptions, image file names, blog posts or product pages you’re pinning from) and other pins on the board that a pin is pinned to, relevance and consistency is everything.
If you only pin something once, to a single board, there isn’t enough data for Pinterest to start showing that pin to a lot more people. So in order to give your pin traction you need to repin it. Multiple times.
Especially over the first four to six months of the pin’s life. Have several boards that you can repin an image to so you can gain traction.
7-How often should I be pinning?
Every.Single.Day. Multiple times PER DAY. We are talking at least 5-10 times a day. Pinterest wants high quality images, consistent and keyword rich descriptions. Sporadic pinning isn't successful and "spamming" will see your account suspended. Pinterest is very clear on their expectations and will deliver results to those who work within Pinterest Best Practices.
Scheduling is effective and one blog post/product/recipe can service many boards.
Repin from other high quality accounts as well as your own.
